Sita, who is embodied by our doll Karuna Bomma, is a pivotal figure in the Ramayana. She is a strong woman, who is a perfect role model for our young Karuna Anni. Almost like Alice in Wonderland, Anni is so inspired that she mentally transforms into Sita while watching a show that narrates the story of the Ramayana.
Despite the fact that Sita and Anni appear to be so dissimilar in many respects, Anni feels she can learn a lot from Sita. Anni imparts the knowledge that she has gained from the Ramayana to everyone else in the form of puppetry.
Bomma means Doll and Anni means All. Bomma, like Sita, is One strong role model for All the young girls like Anni.
